Specialized experience: one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03/ GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service that includes: 1) Applying advanced concepts, principles, practices, and regulations pertaining to the field of logistics management related to weapon system project/programs; 2) Logistics Contract Experience to support requirements, Budget planning/execution; and 3) Providing leadership or managing logistics supply and maintenance, weapon system programming and allocation while overseeing materiel acquisition policy in order to integrate the separate logistics functions.

- Serves as deputy or division chief of assigned area accomplishing work through a group of professional, technical, and support personnel.
- Directs, develops, and/or implements logistics policies, processes, initiatives, and/or programs for major, highly complex weapon or information systems acquisition in the areas of Logistics Support.
- Develops milestones for projects.
- Performs the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties.
- Evaluates performance of subordinates; gives advice, counsel and/or instruction to subordinates on both work and administrative matters.
- Develops performance standards.
- Exercises full authority as a member of the pay pool management, in assessing contribution and preparing statements of duties and experience for Demonstration employees.

- Position is Non-Critical Sensitive (3) requiring a Secret security clearance; the incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics (Advanced) Certification within 4 years of entrance on duty.
- This is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP) and requires a 3-year tenure agreement. Must sign DD Form 2888 (Critical Acquisition Position Service Agreement) and execute, as a condition of employment, a written tenure agreement.
- This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
- This position requires a mobility agreement which requires written consent to comply with management directed permanent change of station (PCS) movement and/or deployment to support overseas contingency operations.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
