Position Information:
BreakForth Solutions is seeking an Exercise Development Support – Direct Air Support Center (DASC), Aviation Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team of dynamic professionals. We offer 100% paid medical benefits for the employee and a host of other amazing benefits. Please apply today!
Essential Functions:
The Aviation support SME will cover down on normal functions of Marine Aviation as it relates to the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Warfighting Exercise (MWX).
The role covers down on all DASC or Air Support Liaison Team (ASLT) organizations and observes all processes to feed the After Action Review (AAR) collection plan.
Prepare observations to publish in the AAR, and some mentorship is also expected in order to over-the-shoulder suggest alternative ways to accomplish the tasks.
The Aviation support SME also covers down on all Aviation Planning Boards and is present in the Ready Rooms to observe and collect on briefs and pre-flight and post-flight requirements.
Education/Skills/Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma is required.
Retired Marine Officer with O5-level experience in Air Command and Control and the Marine Air Command and Control Systems.
Must possess Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
Must possess a valid US Passport.
Desired Knowledge/Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience at the Battalion, Regiment, Division, and Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) levels desired.
Experience with Interagency and other governmental entities preferred.
