As a Program Analyst at the NH-0343-4 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Lead, develop, and brief MDA leadership on improvements in operating concepts and criteria that will stimulate the development of improved policies, methodologies, and techniques across the MDS.
- Review, compare, and brief current program developments against approved plans and baselines to identify potential and actual problems, executed baseline remedial and preventative actions, and report findings and recommendations to MDA senior leadership.
- Analyze and brief senior leadership on cost, schedule, and technical assessments of acquisition programs to ensure they are capabilities driven, employ spiral development processes, integrated, and deliver expected performance within cost and schedule, at reasonable risk.
- Responsible for the reviews and analysis of program and functional schedules to facilitate the integration and synchronization of program levels and MDS system level baselines to support the MDA phased incremental development approach and ensure delivery of capabilities to the Warfighter.
- Works closely and collaboratively with Functional and Program Manager Staffs on a daily basis to identify schedule process improvement opportunities, and to assist with affecting such process improvements.

- Applying qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness.
- Applying cross-functional knowledge and teamwork to solve a variety of complex and often sensitive problems.
