Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Inventory and analyze applications, components, interfaces, dependencies, and technical risks.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, technical profiles, dependency maps, and integration documentation, with the base-year architecture baseline completed incrementally.
• Analyze incidents and recurring defects; support postmortems and root-cause analysis.
• Assess technical impacts of proposed changes and support accreditation-impact analysis and related technical artifacts.
• Work with developers, system administrators, business analysts, and USDA stakeholders to validate system behavior and requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation in USDA repositories as systems and dependencies change.
Required Qualifications
• Demonstrated enterprise systems analysis and design experience.
• Ability to analyze architectures, interfaces, dependencies, data flows, and technical risks across heterogeneous applications.
• Experience producing clear architecture, system-design, interface, and operational documentation.
• Demonstrated root-cause/problem-analysis skills and ability to communicate technical findings to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Federal application portfolio experience.
• Experience with modern cloud/container and legacy enterprise application environments.
• Experience supporting RMF/ATO technical artifacts and system diagrams.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Agile delivery, and application O&M.
