Work You'll Do
As a Data Engineer III on the AI & Data team, you will be responsible for...
- Designing, building, and maintaining batch and streaming data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and artificial intelligence use cases
- Developing and optimizing extract, transform, and load processes for structured and unstructured data across multiple source systems
- Implementing data models, data quality controls, and validation processes to support accurate and reliable downstream consumption
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable data engineering solutions
- Supporting deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning of data solutions in cloud and enterprise environments

Qualifications
Required:
- Active Top Secret clearance
- 1+ years of Databricks project experience or Databricks Associate Developer certification
- 4+ years of experience building extract, transform, and load pipelines in Databricks
- 4+ years of experience creating and maintaining bronze, silver, and gold tables in Databricks
- 4+ years of experience using PySpark and SQL in a developer-focused role
- Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field
- Experience supporting data modernization programs for government or public sector organizations
- Experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark
- Experience with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
- Experience implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment for data engineering solutions
- Experience with relational, dimensional, and analytical data modeling
