Summary:
• Conduct defensive cyber operations and threat hunt operations across big data platforms.
• Analyze network traffic to detect vulnerabilities, investigate anomalies, and track emerging cyber threats.
• Apply data science methods, statistical modeling, and interactive visualization tools to automate threat detection.
• Support operational teams with requirements analysis, use case generation, and technical training.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 0+ years
• Total Compensation: $323k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Execute cyber hunt operations and present findings through interactive briefings and demonstrations.
• Perform network traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark and TCP-Dump.
• Query and analyze datasets using Python, SQL, and KQL.
• Build, test, and deploy statistical models and threat detection signatures using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
• Create customer-facing dashboards and visualizations to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Interface with cloud and big data platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Leverage SIEM and SOAR technologies such as Splunk to enhance defensive cyber capabilities.
• Evaluate, enrich, and validate data feeds to support customer operational workflows.
Telework:
This position supports a hybrid work arrangement with up to four days per week on-site.
