Palantir Foundry Engineer
Remote

Blu Omega is seeking a Palantir Foundry Engineer to support public health data modernization and advanced analytics initiatives for mission-critical federal programs. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions within the Palantir Foundry platform. You will collaborate with technical leads, data engineers, business stakeholders, and client teams to transform complex enterprise data into reliable pipelines, dashboards, and applications that support data-driven decision-making and public health outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows within Palantir Foundry using Python, PySpark, TypeScript, and related technologies.
  • Ingest, integrate, clean, standardize, and transform structured and unstructured data from multiple enterprise sources.
  • Identify and resolve data quality, transformation, and pipeline performance issues.
  • Develop reusable code and transformation logic using Foundry Code Repositories and software engineering best practices.
  • Build and maintain Foundry Ontologies that connect enterprise data to operational workflows and business processes.
  • Develop Workshop applications, dashboards, visualizations, and workflow tools that turn complex data into actionable insights.
  • Debug, optimize, and enhance existing Foundry pipelines and legacy code.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Foundry solutions.
  • Apply version control, testing, documentation, and other engineering practices to improve reliability and maintainability.
  • Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, Scrum ceremonies, backlog refinement, and Jira tracking.
  • Explore opportunities to leverage Palantir AIP, LLMs, and AI-enabled workflows to enhance analytics capabilities.

Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a professional technical environment.
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience developing solutions within Palantir Foundry.
  • Experience with Foundry Code Repositories, Ontology Manager, and Workshop.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
  • Experience ingesting, transforming, and managing large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Understanding of software engineering and data engineering principles.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex Foundry pipelines and legacy codebases.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, data structures, and web development concepts.
  • Experience in Agile delivery using Jira or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Palantir Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), including LLM integration and AI workflows.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Experience with R or other statistical programming languages.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Background supporting CDC, federal healthcare, or public health programs.
  • Palantir Foundry certifications, such as Palantir Foundry Data Engineer.

Compensation Salary Range: $105,000.00 - $120,000.00
Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
