After Action and Trends Analyst

The Opportunity:

As an expert in defense missions, your experience enables you to ask hard questions and uncover hidden performance insights. We need analytical leaders to bring decision-quality rigor to Service-Level Training assessments.

As an After-Action Review (AAR) and Training Readiness and Reporting Process (TRRP) analyst, you'll collaborate with leading experts supporting Marine Corps readiness development. You'll research, develop, analyze, and produce high-priority exercise reconstruction deliverables, linking observed behaviors to Training & Readiness (T&R) standards and operational outcomes. You will collect real-time telemetry, conduct trend analysis, identify systemic deficiencies, and generate AAR and TRRP packages shaping future service-level modernization.

Work with us to transform raw operational data into meaningful insights that shape future training and force-wide readiness.

Join us. The world can't wait.

You Have:

  • Experience in operational analysis, AAR production, or exercise assessment
  • Experience capturing real-time telemetry feeds, reconstructing decisions, and producing gap analyses and Significant Tactical Report (STR) products
  • Experience creating playback products and comprehensive AAR or TRRP documents
  • Experience coordinating deliverables, travel, and reporting workflows in high-tempo exercise environments
  • Knowledge of Project Tripoli and TECOM Campaign Plan
  • Ability to evaluate performance against T&R or MCTL standards
  • Ability to develop analytical presentations for senior leaders
  • Ability to travel to CONUS locations up to 15% of the time for exercise support
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Marine Corps or Joint service-level training events such as MWX or an equivalent
  • Experience with ISR data, EW effects, OPFOR replication, or LVC integration
  • Experience conducting trend analysis across multiple exercise cycles
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps Center for Lessons Learned (MCCLL)
  • Knowledge of geospatial and M&S tools such as ArcGIS or STK
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
