Sr. System Specialist

• System administration, user administration, user assistance, file transfers, backups, laptop control, printouts, Sudo, NMCI pre-support (to validate issue is NMCI) and documentation creation/updates.
• Perform administrative tasks such as managing printouts, filing paperwork, creation and editing of business documentation.
• Perform basic IT functions such as basic user account creation, password resets, file permissions changes, user assistance, file transfers, monitoring backups, and handling IT hardware.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of specialized experience in the operation and maintenance of the equipment that comprises Department A.
• IAT Level 2 certification to include an Information Assurance (IA) certification and a Windows Operating System (OS) certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others as well as the ability to work independently under limited supervision.
• Demonstrated experience performing basic IT functions such as basic user account creation, password resets, file permissions changes, user assistance, file transfers, monitoring backups, and handling IT hardware.
• Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.

The anticipated salary for this position is $80,000 to $85,000.
