AWS Connect Engineer

Our client, a leading Consulting company, is in need of an AWS Connect Engineer for an initial 12 month fully remote contract supporting several customers within California state & local government. The customer is looking to integrate their Salesforce platform, specifically SCC-AC (Salesforce Contact Center with Amazon Connect), Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, etc. into their AWS environment. The AWS Connect Engineer will also be responsible for configuring CTI adapters, writing and deploying Lambda functions and setting up authentication and security.

Required Skills:

• 7 + years of experience working as an AWS and / or Salesforce Engineer.
• Experience integrating Salesforce (SCC - AC, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) into AWS.
• Verint experience, specifically Implementation, Troubleshooting, Config, and writing reports in the platform.
• Experience supporting the Implementation, Troubleshooting, Configuration, etc. of Amazon Connect.
• Experience supporting the Implementation, Troubleshooting, Configuration, etc. of Salesforce.
• Experience building Agentic flows in AWS.
• Python Scripting experience.
• Infrastructure as Code experience, specifically CDK, CloudFormation or Terraform.

Desired Skills:

• Some level of AWS Certification (Solutions Architect Associate, DevOps Engineer Professional).
• Experience with Contact Lens, Amazon Q, Generative AI agent-assist deployments.
