Job Description
Our client, located in NC, is currently in need of a Storage Migration Project Manager for a 1 year contract. The consultant will work remotely to manage a large, complex storage array migration of 3.5 PB VMAX storage to new PMAX using Open Replicator and SRDF.
The environment consists of 14 VMAX 950s across 6 sites with 477 hosts. SAN fabric is not part of the migration duties. The customer is responsible for scheduling events and change management.

The expected hourly rate range for this role is: $55 - 80 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Manage migration planning and execution efforts.
- 2 months of of discovery and planning
- 18 migration events with up to 2 per month.
- Migration clean-up
- Re-establish SRDF replication post migration on new PowerMax arrays
Required Skills:
- Ability to work flexible hours, 100% remote, in support of scheduled migration events
- Ability to lead, plan and execute a migration plan
- Experience managing VMAX or PMAX array migrations
