Bring Your License to San Diego!

No California license required. If you hold an active, unrestricted, independent clinical license in any U.S. state or territory, you may qualify for this opportunity.

About Blue Rose Consulting Group Inc.

At Blue Rose Consulting Group, our mission is simple: People First. Mission Always.

As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and SBA-Certified HUBZone company, we deliver innovative solutions and exceptional talent to federal agencies nationwide. We specialize in healthcare, behavioral health, technology, cybersecurity, intelligence, program management, and professional services, helping our clients solve complex challenges while making a meaningful impact.

What sets Blue Rose apart is our people. We foster a collaborative, mission-driven environment where professionals can do meaningful work, grow their careers, and make a difference in the communities and programs they support.

About the Role

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Lead Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to support a federal behavioral health program in San Diego, California.

This is a full-time, onsite leadership position providing behavioral health services to children and adolescents while also supporting the clinical team and day-to-day delivery of services.

This opportunity is particularly unique because California licensure is not required. Qualified clinicians who hold an active, unrestricted, independent license in another U.S. state or territory may be eligible.

If you have been considering San Diego but thought obtaining a California license would stand in your way, this could be your opportunity to bring the license you already have with you.

  • Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to behavioral health team members
  • Support day-to-day clinical operations and coordination of services
  • Provide crisis intervention, assessment, and short-term behavioral health support as appropriate
  • Apply trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches when working with vulnerable populations
  • Collaborate with program leadership and multidisciplinary partners to support continuity and quality of services
  • Assist with clinical oversight, staff support, and operational needs
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and program standards in accordance with applicable requirements
  • Support additional behavioral health and program activities as required
Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Active, unrestricted, independent clinical license in any U.S. state or territory, including LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, Psychologist, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory, lead, or management experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents
  • Experience supporting individuals impacted by trauma, crisis, and/or other vulnerable circumstances
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and fast-paced environment
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to work onsite in San Diego, California
What We Offer
  • $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • Competitive compensation
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • 401(k) retirement benefits
