Job Description
ReliaSource seeks a highly organized Project Manager to lead a large-scale laptop imaging and deployment program. The project includes imaging and deploying approximately 15,000 devices across 10 hub locations, plus imaging and shipping another 15,000 laptops to roughly 1,000 locations. The Project Manager will own the schedule, coordinate hub and field teams, track production and delivery, and resolve issues that could affect deployment in an active production environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain the project schedule, including imaging, staging, shipping, onsite deployment, and completion milestones.
• Coordinate daily work with hub teams, Field Leads, field technicians, logistics partners, and customer stakeholders.
• Track device volumes, deployment progress, staffing, inventory, and site readiness across all locations.
• Oversee the use of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) in the imaging and deployment workflow, working with technical teams to resolve build or deployment issues.
• Identify schedule risks and operational bottlenecks early; establish recovery plans and communicate changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate status reports, issue logs, action items, and deployment records.
• Ensure technicians have the equipment, instructions, access, and site information needed to complete work efficiently.
• Coordinate deployments around business operations to minimize disruption to end users.
Required Qualifications
• Experience managing large-scale desktop or laptop imaging and deployment projects across multiple sites.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft MECM adn InTune and its role in device imaging and deployment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage detailed schedules and coordinate distributed field teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience tracking project metrics and reporting progress to customers and leadership.
• Ability to prioritize and make sound decisions in a fast-paced production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with deployments involving thousands of devices and hundreds of destination sites.
• Familiarity with device staging, asset tracking, shipping logistics, and end-user transition planning.
• Experience supporting federal government or large enterprise customers.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management experience preferred.
Success in this role means devices are prepared, delivered, and deployed on schedule; field teams remain aligned; deployment records are accurate; and issues are resolved before they disrupt production.
