Job Description
ReliaSource seeks an Imaging Lead / DPM to direct the technical execution of a large-scale laptop deployment program. This role requires significant hands-on expertise with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) to image and provision laptops in a secure environment. The successful candidate will implement the imaging strategy, oversee Project Leads and a team of up to 12 Field Technicians, and keep technical work on track against strict delivery deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the technical strategy for laptop imaging, provisioning, testing, and deployment using MECM.
• Establish repeatable imaging procedures, quality checks, and troubleshooting processes suited to a secure environment.
• Direct day-to-day assignments for Project Leads and up to 12 Field Technicians, setting priorities and monitoring completion.
• Build and maintain detailed task plans aligned with device production targets and deployment deadlines.
• Identify and resolve imaging, provisioning, and configuration issues; escalate risks that threaten delivery.
• Verify that devices meet approved configuration and security requirements before release.
• Track production output, exceptions, rework, and technician capacity; provide clear progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, hub teams, logistics staff, and field personnel to ensure devices are ready when needed.
• Train and support technicians to promote consistent, accurate work across the team.
Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience administering MECM for laptop imaging, provisioning, and deployment at scale.
• Experience imaging and configuring devices in a secure or tightly controlled IT environment.
• Experience leading technical leads and field technicians on a deadline-driven deployment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and detailed task assignments.
• Ability to diagnose technical problems, make practical decisions, and communicate their impact on the schedule.
• Experience maintaining accurate production records and reporting technical progress to project leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with large enterprise or federal government device deployments, especially DHS/CBP.
• Familiarity with deployment task sequences, driver management, application packaging, and endpoint security controls.
• Experience establishing quality assurance procedures for high-volume imaging operations.
Success in this role means the imaging process is reliable, devices meet approved requirements, technicians have clear direction, and production stays on pace with the deployment schedule.
