Are You an Infrastructure Engineer Ready to Build Scalable, Resilient Cloud Infrastructure?
QSSHire is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer in Herndon, VA, to build and
maintain scalable, resilient infrastructure supporting high-volume data and alerting systems.
In this role, you’ll work with Kubernetes, AWS, infrastructure as code, messaging platforms,
and observability tools to support reliable applications and distributed systems. You’ll
collaborate with development teams to automate infrastructure, improve CI/CD
processes, and maintain highly available environments.
In This Role, You’ll:
• Architect and maintain scalable, resilient infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes.
• Build and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS, EKS, EC2, and S3.
• Use Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Design and maintain routing and DNS solutions for high availability and
performance.
• Support messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Build infrastructure capable of supporting high-volume data streams and alerts.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Grafana.
• Support logging and alerting capabilities for proactive incident response.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Implement cloud security, automation, and DevOps best practices.
You’ll Succeed Here If You Have:
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, including EKS, EC2, and S3.
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with RabbitMQ and/or Kafka.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and practices.
• Experience with routing and DNS.
• Experience with Grafana or similar monitoring tools.
• Experience implementing logging and alerting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting scalable cloud-based environments.
Desired Skills:
• Experience supporting scalable applications on Kubernetes.
• Experience handling high-volume data alerts.
• Experience working on large projects in complex, fast-paced environments.
Degree Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Relevant years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
