Position Overview
Orgs Financial Services Department is seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform Developer / Architect to support the modernization of financial systems, applications, and business processes.
This role will lead the architecture, design, and hands-on development of scalable enterprise applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and SharePoint Online. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical leadership experience and the ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the architecture, design, and hands-on development of applications using Microsoft Power Platform
• Develop scalable solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL
• Build both Model-Driven and Canvas Power Apps
• Translate user stories and business requirements into functional technical solutions
• Design and configure scalable web applications and enterprise workflows
• Integrate generative AI, intelligent automation, and low-code capabilities into enterprise applications and business processes
• Identify technical dependencies and gaps, troubleshoot challenges, and implement enhancements
• Support application deployments and conduct post-deployment monitoring and troubleshooting
• Develop system documentation and enterprise-level Standard Operating Procedures
• Establish robust system monitoring and troubleshooting processes
• Train staff on troubleshooting and solution development
• Follow best practices for version control, CI/CD, DevSecOps, application security, and lifecycle management
• Collaborate with technical and business teams on requirements, estimates, architecture, and implementation
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of IT systems development experience, primarily within the Microsoft solution stack and cloud technologies
• 5+ years of experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
• 3+ years developing solutions within Microsoft Power Platform
• 2+ years developing Model-Driven and Canvas Apps
• Experience using Power Fx
• 2+ years of SharePoint Online experience, including collaboration and business process automation
• Strong Power BI experience, including data visualization and business intelligence
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions within secure research environments
• FedRAMP experience required
• Hands-on experience architecting and implementing production-oriented Generative AI, intelligent automation, and low-code solutions
• Architecture-level experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, application architecture, and integration architecture
• Understanding of authentication, security, and Application Lifecycle Management within Microsoft Power Platform
• Experience translating business and mission requirements into technical roadmaps and delivered solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Power Apps and Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert

This position requires the ability to work onsite in Lexington, MA 2–3 days per week to collaborate with the team.
An interim clearance is sufficient to start.
The interview process will consist of two rounds: an initial prescreen followed by a second-round interview with a broader team. The second round is preferably conducted in person, although Zoom can be accommodated if necessary.
