Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic Supervisor without more than normal supervision.- Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
Additional information
- Provides supervision to employees engaged diagnosing, repairing and replacing heavy mobile parts on various types of vehicles.
- Responsible for making production schedules and utilizing the resources that are available.
- Responsible for managing a group of employees to include disciplinary, counseling, rating and directing them to accomplish a mission.

- This position requires a Secret Security Clearance.
- Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
