Summary/Objective

Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.

Essential Functions

• Directs and performs installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and controls for a DoD facility.
• Performs and tracks installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and general building systems.
• Ensures adherence to blueprints, specifications, schematics, sketches, and verbal instructions for electrical work and small projects.
• Performs complex diagnostics, repairs, and replacements of electrical components and devices.
• Ensures compliance with applicable codes and NEC standards; trains others on proper work standards.
• May perform work on packaged HVAC units, split-systems, CRUs, VAVs, CRACs, air handling units, pumps, exchangers, fans, and calibration of electrical/pneumatic controls.
• Conducts mechanical activities as needed to support facility operations.
• Handles administrative tasks including scheduling, coordinating personnel and materials, entering work requests into a work management system, and documenting resources used.
• Supports critical systems to maintain 99.999% availability for technical power systems and 99.9% availability for mechanical and non-technical power systems.

Required Education and Experience

• Education: High School Diploma (or GED)
• Experience: 8+ years' experience involving electrical systems and equipment, and general experience with overall operations, maintenance and repair of facilities.
• Current Master's Electrical License required.
• Demonstrated ability to support and maintain critical systems at extremely high availability levels (up to 99.999% uptime for key power systems).

Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000
