Position Title: SETA Technical Support SME - Naval Special Warfare

Location: Arlington, VA - Hybrid (off-site with telework authorized) 

Clearance required: SECRET 

Scope of Work: Provides systems engineering and technical assistance (SETA) subject matter expertise in Naval Special Warfare (NSW) to ONR Code 32. Supports the development of new concepts of operations, S&T efforts across TRLs, and coordination with Fleet and USSOCOM stakeholders.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Support development of new and innovative concepts of operations through transition to operating forces 


• Support and manage S&T efforts to develop and demonstrate naval technologies across program elements 6.2, 6.3, and 6.4 


• Extract and organize complex technical, performance, and cost analysis information for NSW systems 


• Work with Fleet and USSOCOM representatives to develop scenarios and predict performance of future technologies 


• Plan, execute, and present within Fleet/Joint conferences, wargames, and working groups

• Active Secret clearance 


• U.S. citizenship 


• Bachelor's degree from a fully accredited college or university 


• Ten (10) years of operational Naval Special Warfare experience with Fleet and Joint Formations 

Desired:

• Experience in Navy ERP or similar SAP experience 


• Advanced degree and Joint Specialty Officer / Joint Officer Qualification III 


• DAWIA S&TM Level I or Engineering and Technical Management foundational training 


• 10-year experience requirement may be reduced to eight (8) years with a current PMP certification
