Job Description
Position Title: System Administration II
Location: Newport, RI
Clearance required: SECRET
Scope of Work: Provides network system administration for classified and unclassified networks, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network applications, monitoring tools, servers, and appliances.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network applications, software, and monitoring tools
- Administer network management servers and network appliances
- Maintain system databases, network diagrams, topology maps, and HBSS databases
- Generate maintenance reports and track database changes
- Minimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level.
- Network system administration skills
- Personnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2
