Job Description
Position Title: Specialist Configuration Management II
Location: Newport, RI
Clearance required: SECRET
Scope of Work: Maintains configuration and inventory documentation for network, Media Center, and telephone systems, and supports the firm-fixed-price metrics and maintenance reporting task.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Update and maintain current configuration documentation and equipment inventory information
- Maintain a configuration control program consistent with baseline documentation
- Track work order metrics and prepare maintenance service reports
- Support change documentation and configuration management deliverables
- Minimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level.
- Configuration and inventory management skills for IT infrastructure
- Personnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2
