About the Role
Join OMNI Consulting Solutions as a Senior Systems Engineer and take on a critical technical leadership role supporting a federal customer's most demanding systems. You'll provide independent technical assessments, drive systems engineering excellence, and directly influence decisions made by senior government stakeholders through rigorous analysis and expert guidance.
Responsibilities
- Provide independent technical assessments of contractor designs, architectures, and system performance
- Support systems engineering activities including requirements, integration, test, verification, and operations
- Evaluate radar, RF payload, and mission system performance
- Support MBSE and digital engineering efforts using tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw
- Participate in design reviews, integration/test campaigns, and readiness assessments
- Identify technical risks and provide recommendations to government leadership
- Develop briefings and decision support materials for senior stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field (advanced degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience supporting aerospace, defense, or space systems programs
- Experience with ISR, radar systems, RF payloads, or mission systems engineering
- Familiarity with MBSE/SysML tools and systems engineering lifecycle processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior SETA or government program office experience
- Experience with DoD acquisition processes and space system integration/testing
- Familiarity with tools such as Cameo, Jira, Confluence, DOORS, MATLAB, or Python
