Join a Leading Defense Support Team

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Technical Consultant I (Windows Client Engineer) to help modernize and secure enterprise Windows endpoints. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in Microsoft Intune, SCCM, PowerShell scripting, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.

You'll work closely with security teams to identify, remediate, and prevent vulnerabilities while ensuring the stability and security of critical endpoint environments.
What You'll Do

✅ Remediate vulnerabilities identified through Tenable platforms

✅ Build, package, test, and deploy solutions using:

• Microsoft Intune
• SCCM / Configuration Manager
• PowerShell scripting

✅ Manage Windows patching and compliance through:

• Windows Update for Business
• WSUS
• SCCM Software Updates

✅ Develop proactive remediation and automation solutions

✅ Package and deploy third-party application updates

✅ Maintain security baselines and hardening standards

✅ Partner with Security and Vulnerability Management teams to:

• Validate remediation efforts
• Investigate findings
• Reduce organizational risk

✅ Support:

• Device onboarding
• Compliance policies
• Co-management environments
• Conditional Access initiatives

✅ Document deployment and remediation procedures
Qualifications
Required

✔ Bachelor's Degree or Higher

✔ 3-5 years of enterprise Windows endpoint engineering experience

✔ Hands-on experience with:

• Microsoft Intune
• SCCM / Configuration Manager

✔ Strong PowerShell scripting skills

✔ Experience with Windows patch management

✔ Knowledge of:

• Vulnerability management tools
• CVEs and CVSS scoring
• Active Directory
• Group Policy
• Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Windows operating systems

✔ Ability to safely test and deploy enterprise-wide changes
