Full Stack Developer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support a company focused on federal modernization, cloud transformation, and mission-critical technology initiatives. This position is on-site in Huntsville, AL.

The Senior Full Stack Developer will design, develop, integrate, and modernize secure enterprise applications across front-end, back-end, API, database, and cloud environments. This is an opportunity to play a key technical role in modernizing critical government systems while developing scalable, cloud-ready applications supporting high-impact national missions.

Responsibilities for the Senior Full Stack Developer include:

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end application components, REST APIs, microservices, and integrations supporting enterprise systems
• Develop scalable, cloud-ready applications while supporting CI/CD pipelines, cloud integration, and modernization initiatives within AWS environments
• Collaborate with product, DevSecOps, cloud, data, QA, and migration teams throughout application design, development, testing, and release activities
• Implement secure coding practices while troubleshooting application defects, improving performance, and ensuring reliability across the full technology stack
• Create and maintain technical documentation including application designs, API specifications, data flows, code documentation, and release artifacts

Required Qualifications for the Senior Full Stack Developer include:

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, or full-stack development, with a Bachelor's degree required
• Strong hands-on experience developing both front-end and back-end applications using modern programming languages, frameworks, and development technologies
• Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, system integrations, and solutions utilizing relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, automated testing, and troubleshooting applications across the full stack
• Must have an Active Top Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Full Stack Developer include:

• Experience developing cloud-native applications and services within AWS environments
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, containerized applications, serverless technologies, and modern distributed architectures
• Development experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar full-stack programming languages
• Experience with performance optimization, load testing, automated quality pipelines, or application reliability initiatives
• Experience supporting DOJ, FBI, Intelligence Community, or other national security programs

Compensation for the Senior Full Stack Developer includes:

Salary Range: Competitive salary depending on experience
