Junior Endpoint Systems Analyst

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Junior Endpoint Systems Analyst to support a long-term DOD program focused on enterprise endpoint management and service delivery. This position is 100% onsite in Pearl Harbor, HI and supports a large-scale Navy environment. The Junior Endpoint Systems Analyst will support the deployment, validation, troubleshooting, and reporting of software, patches, drivers, and configuration changes across enterprise Windows workstations using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and other approved endpoint-management tools.

Responsibilities of the Junior Endpoint Systems Analyst include:

• Execute and monitor enterprise software, patch, driver, security-agent, and configuration deployments using MECM/SCCM and other approved endpoint-management platforms.
• Monitor deployment results and identify failed, pending, offline, nonresponsive, or otherwise non-compliant workstations.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures, MECM client-health issues, software installation errors, Windows workstation issues, and endpoint connectivity problems.
• Analyze installation logs, deployment status, error codes, enforcement states, and workstation health data to identify root causes and determine appropriate remediation.
• Coordinate remediation activities with engineering, Service Desk, Field Services, operations, and site-support teams.
• Support endpoint deployments across NIPR and SIPR environments.
• Assist with workstation testing and validation prior to enterprise-wide software, patch, driver, and configuration deployments.
• Maintain deployment schedules, status trackers, failure logs, compliance reports, and supporting technical documentation.
• Provide deployment status, compliance results, risks, blockers, and escalation information to technical leadership.
• Support enterprise change-management, cybersecurity, configuration-management, and operational procedures.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, deployment documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support incident escalation and shift handoffs when deployments extend beyond normal operating hours.
• Provide onsite technical support within classified environments as required.

Qualifications of the Junior Endpoint Systems Analyst include:

• High school diploma with 4-6 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Active DOD Secret clearance
• CompTIA Security+ CE or another approved DoD 8570.01-M/8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows workstations in an enterprise environment
• Experience with software deployment, patch management, workstation troubleshooting, endpoint administration, or similar enterprise IT operations
• Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) or a similar endpoint-management platform
• Ability to analyze deployment results, installation logs, error codes, client status, and workstation health information
• Ability to troubleshoot endpoint deployment and software-installation issues and coordinate appropriate remediation
• Strong documentation and communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues, deployment status, risks, and blockers clearly
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, Service Desk, Field Services, and other technical teams

Preferred Qualifications of the Junior Endpoint Systems Analyst include:

• Hands-on experience with MECM/SCCM, Tanium, Active Directory, PowerShell, or endpoint reporting platforms.
• Knowledge of MECM/SCCM collections, deployments, maintenance windows, client health, enforcement states, and deployment monitoring.
• Experience deploying software applications, Windows updates, drivers, security agents, and configuration changes at enterprise scale.
• Familiarity with application packaging and enterprise software deployment processes.
• Experience supporting both NIPR and SIPR environments.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, HPSM/Service Manager, or similar IT service-management and work-tracking platforms.
• Experience with endpoint compliance reporting, patch compliance, or vulnerability remediation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-service skills.

Compensation for the Junior Endpoint Systems Analyst includes:

• Salary: $95,000-$100,000 depending on experience
