Role Summary
Stratias is supporting the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) program, a large SAP implementation run in a scaled agile environment. We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with strong Agile and SAFe delivery skills to coach an Agile team and build strong working relationships with stakeholders, including customer Product Owners. You will work closely with the Release Train Engineer and other ART resources to make sure planning, development, testing, and deployment succeed.
Responsibilities
-Coach and lead an Agile team within SAFe.
-Facilitate team breakouts and PI objectives during PI Planning, and run sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
-Facilitate backlog refinement with Product Owners and business analysts.
-Track and remove impediments, escalating through the wider organization and coordinating across teams.
-Maintain team metrics and perform capacity planning.
-Work with other Scrum Masters to manage dependencies and keep practices consistent across teams.
-Liaise with architects, cybersecurity SMEs, and other stakeholders.
-Manage releases and dependencies between teams and third parties.
-Support development of product roadmaps.
-Develop and refine processes to improve quality and productivity, and coach the team toward high performance.
-Contribute to the Agile community of practice.
-Support appropriate staffing for assigned Epics and Features, schedule and allocate work, and ensure product quality and timeliness.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 7 years of related experience.
-Certified Scrum Master or Certified SAFe Scrum Master, with significant experience coaching Scrum teams.
-3+ years leading teams using Agile Scrum or a scaled Agile approach.
-Understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including planning, requirements management, configuration management, QA, and release management.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Able to pass an IT-1 background investigation.
Nice to Have
-SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, SAFe Practitioner, or another scaled agile certification.
-Experience supporting ERP or federal financial management systems in a DoD environment.
-Experience with test automation, building security into software (BSIMM, security touchpoints), and continuous deployment models.
