Role Summary
Stratias is supporting the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) program at USTRANSCOM. We are looking for an SAP TM Configuration Specialist to design, configure, and optimize Transportation Protective Services (TPS) within SAP Transportation Management. You will own the end-to-end TPS process, from order management and carrier selection through settlement, cost posting, and financial integration.
Responsibilities
-Lead the design, configuration, and support of TPS processes, including order management, planning, carrier selection, and execution.
-Coordinate with Hazmat development on business rules.
-Oversee settlement and charge calculation, and configure settlement documents and invoice verification.
-Support automatic posting of TPS costs and accurate revenue and cost recognition.
-Support TPS cost visibility and analytics.
-Ensure integration between TPS and S/4HANA TM, FI, MM, SD, Extended Warehouse Management, and the financial system of record.
-Work with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams on invoice reconciliation.
-Work with carriers to ensure seamless integration and communication.
-Manage enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
-5+ years of experience in Transportation Protective Services within SAP TM.
-Hands-on configuration experience in TPS and FI.
-Strong knowledge of settlement and cost distribution, including cost calculation, settlement documents, invoice verification, general ledger account determination, and cost postings.
-Deep understanding of integration points between TPS, FI, SD, and MM.
-Experience with end-to-end order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes.
-Experience working with carriers on integration and communication.
-Strong business process knowledge in logistics, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a sense of urgency, and a record of on-time delivery.
Nice to Have
-Experience with embedded TPS in SAP S/4HANA.
-Experience with intercompany billing and revenue recognition impacts of TPS charges.
-Familiarity with EDI/API integrations with carriers.
-Federal or public sector experience, and experience in global transportation.
-SAP TM or FI certification.
-DoD IAT Level I baseline certification.
-BS/BA degree or equivalent.
