Role Summary
Stratias is supporting the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) program, a mission-critical SAP S/4HANA solution for DoD transportation and logistics. We are looking for an SAP Integration Suite Senior Developer to build and support the interfaces that exchange data between SAP instances and external systems across the JTMS landscape. You will work within service-oriented architecture principles and SAP best practices. You will align integrations with DoD transportation doctrine, regulatory requirements (DTR, DoD FMR), and Clean Core principles.
Responsibilities
-Analyze customer business operations to validate requirements and scope, suggest process improvements, and support level-of-effort estimation.
-Design and develop end-to-end integration flows (iFlows) using synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven, and API-led patterns.
-Model and design interface objects from an enterprise service architecture perspective.
-Configure connectors, mappings, routing rules, and security protocols (OAuth, SAML, SSL/TLS).
-Configure standard and custom adapters (SFTP, REST, SOAP, OData, JDBC, IDoc) and manage message mapping, transformation, and routing.
-Configure EDI interfaces using TPM, implement message mapping (MIG/MAG), and configure AS2, SFTP, and OData adapters.
-Develop Groovy and Java scripts for complex mappings between SAP instances and external systems through SAP Integration Suite.
-Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug iFlows to resolve performance issues.
-Implement ABAP applications and interfaces using SAP Proxy and IDoc technologies.
-Develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents.
-Conduct unit, integration, and release testing.
Qualifications
-15+ years of SAP experience, including 10+ years in SAP integration middleware.
-Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI/Cloud Integration), SAP Integration Advisor, and SAP BTP.
-Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and BTP architecture.
-Deep understanding of point-to-point, hub-and-spoke, publish-subscribe, and event-driven architectures.
-Proficiency in Groovy, XSLT, and API management, including publishing, securing, and monitoring APIs.
-Deep understanding of EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12) and DoD EDI standards (DTEB preferred).
-Working knowledge of REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, and JSON/XML formats.
-Knowledge of IDoc processing and monitoring, including the CPI IDoc sender and receiver adapters, and of ABAP client/server proxy technology.
-Prior experience supporting USTRANSCOM transportation operations, systems, or programs.
-Ability to follow strict development standards and conduct code reviews.
-Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and on a team.
Nice to Have
-Prior experience on JTMS or similar DoD logistics modernization programs.
-Experience with SAP NS2 or IL5-hosted SAP environments.
-SAP BTP Integration Suite training or certification.
-Technical degree with relevant experience.
