Position: Production Worker
Location: Carroll, Iowa
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Job Summary
The selected candidate will plan and perform a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection operations on various products in both standard and non-standard environments while maintaining efficient workflow and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other work instructions.
• Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, cutters, measuring equipment, and light machinery.
• Maintain product inventory at designated workstations.
• Conduct quality inspections and identify/document product defects.
• Rework and repair assembled products based on engineering change requirements.
• Always follow established quality standards and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Lift materials and equipment up to 40 lbs as required.
• Stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day.
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma with at least 2 years of relevant manufacturing, production, assembly, or related experience.
• In the absence of a High School Diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
