Overview
We are seeking an experienced SCCM/MECM Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise environment responsible for endpoint management, software deployment, patch management, and systems automation. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, building automation solutions, and supporting mission-critical environments.
The position requires collaboration with systems engineers, operations teams, and platform engineers to improve reliability, automate processes, and maintain a healthy endpoint management infrastructure.

Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the supported location and be available for onsite work 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain a large-scale Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) environment.
Create, manage, and deploy software packages, applications, operating systems, and updates.
Troubleshoot failed application, patch, operating system, and package deployments.
Support Windows endpoint management across enterprise environments.
Manage WSUS administration, patch testing, approvals, and deployment activities.
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and other automation solutions.
Monitor system performance, client health, and infrastructure reliability.
Create and maintain custom SQL and MECM reporting solutions.
Perform MECM server installation, maintenance, upgrades, backups, and recovery activities.
Support performance optimization and operational improvements.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, DevOps, and platform teams.
Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and engineering artifacts.
Assist with automation initiatives involving Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices.
Required Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance or recently expired clearance eligible for reactivation.
Security+ CE certification (or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification).
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise systems infrastructure.
Strong experience administering SCCM/MECM environments.
Experience with:
Windows endpoint management
OS deployment
Software packaging
Patch management
WSUS administration
Strong scripting experience with:
PowerShell

Experience troubleshooting large-scale enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of Windows Server administration and systems engineering principles.
