We are seeking a Journeyman NetOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in network operations, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure management.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain network systems and infrastructure
- Investigate and resolve network issues and outages
- Implement security measures to protect network assets
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure system availability
- Document network configurations and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in network operations or cybersecurity
- Experience with network monitoring tools and protocols
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and threat mitigation
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Cisco CCNA
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
