Job Description
Position: Network Engineer
Experience: Minimum 3 years
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
Location: Camp Lejeune, NC (On-site)
Clearance: Secret clearance e
Position Summary:
The Network Engineer will provide engineering support for FRCS network devices, firewalls, and integration into the Regional Monitoring Services. The candidate will conduct inspections, maintain firewall rules, support network operations, and ensure cybersecurity compliance in DoD environments.
Preferred Certifications:
- CCNA or CCNP
- Security+
- ITILv4 Foundations
- RMF Training (USMC specific)
- Microsoft Certifications
- ICS-VLP Certificate 210W-01 – 10
- Cyber Monitoring Services Platform Certified User Certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support for FRCS network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Maintain firewall rule sets and access control lists for FRCS device communication with Regional Monitoring Services.
- Conduct inspections and surveys of FRCS networks in support of Regional Monitoring Services.
- Develop, maintain, and employ SOPs and checklists for FRCS Monitoring Services operations.
- Support ICS/OT protocols such as BACnet, SCADA, and other control systems.
- Apply DISA STIGs, conduct vulnerability analysis, and create/manage POA&Ms.
- Support USMC A&A process including MCCAST v2, RMF, DFIA, and CNSSI 1253 compliance.
- Minimum 1-year experience with Dragos platform monitoring systems.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work on-site at Camp Lejeune with occasional travel.
