VTC/AV - Technical Operations Coordinator - JDC

Responsibilities

Noblis ESI is seeking a Technical Operations Coordinator to support our customer in Chantilly, VA.

The Technical Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring reliable and high-performance conference room operations. This role focuses on the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audiovisual (AV) and information technology (IT) systems essential for secure meetings and briefings. The ideal candidate will have expertise in conference room technology, video conferencing platforms, and IT support within a classified environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of AV and IT systems in Intelligence Community (IC) conference rooms with specific usage of PowerPoint and Alleo software.
• Analyze, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues affecting secure conferencing environments.
• Ensure video teleconferencing (VTC) systems comply with security protocols and operational requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to personnel on AV systems, video conferencing tools, and presentation equipment with specific usage and oversight of Alleo software.
• Apply systems engineering principles to support the full lifecycle of secure AV/VTC/IT systems, including requirements decomposition, interface definition, integration, test planning, validation, risk identification, and technical documentation.
• Conduct inspections and upgrades on AV and IT infrastructure to maintain optimal performance and compliance with security protocols.
• Support software systems engineering activities for collaboration and conferencing platforms, including software requirements management, configuration control, quality assurance, test execution, release/change tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
• Recommend enhancements to streamline technical operations and improve user experience.
• Maintain detailed logs of conference room configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and operational reports.
• Work collaboratively with IT and facilities teams to address technical needs, escalate issues, and implement system upgrades.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity and IT teams to support secure enterprise AV/VTC environments through patch and change management, approved configuration maintenance, and compliance with classified system security and accreditation requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience OR Master's degree and 4 years of experience OR Associate's degree and 8 years of experience OR HS Diploma/GED and 10 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex), AV systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of VTC systems, AV integration, secure networking principles, and troubleshooting methodologies with specific usage of PowerPoint and Alleo software.
• Systems engineering experience supporting the full lifecycle of secure AV/VTC/IT systems, including requirements decomposition, interface definition, integration, test planning, validation, risk identification, and technical documentation.
• Software systems engineering experience with collaboration or conferencing platforms, including software requirements management, configuration control, quality assurance, test execution, release/change tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience supporting classified or otherwise secure enterprise environments with system security engineering, patch/change management, and coordination of cybersecurity or RMF/ATO-related compliance activities.
• Travel up to 10% within US.
• Lift up to 30 lbs, walk, bend, drive.

Desired Qualifications

• Certifications in IT or AV-related fields (e.g., CTS, ITIL, CompTIA Security+) to be DoD 8570/8140 compliant at a minimum IAT II.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Experience in supporting classified environments within government agencies or DoD facilities.
• Familiarity with IC operational standards and security requirements.
• Knowledge of automated conference room scheduling and monitoring solutions.
• Experience with Alleo's interactive content collaboration platform.
• Strong ability to assist and train users on conferencing technology.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
• Systems Administration experience.
• Information security experience with working knowledge of ICD 503.
• Experience with Tier I/Tier II system troubleshooting (A/V, system administration).

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.

Posted Salary Range

USD $82,500.00 - USD $128,925.00 /Yr.
