Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes planning regular work assignments, preparing plans to meet substantial changes in workload, and justifying revisions in staffing levels, work priorities and deadlines; developing information and; review training and doctrinal supporting information required for the design of training documents; AND interviews candidates for key vacant positions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
All applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within thirty (30) days after the closing date of the announcements.
Education

- Review Tables of Organizational Equipment (TOE) documents ensuring mission, manpower and equipment requirements
- Supervise the work of collective training developers.
- Establish workload priorities for collective training.
- Validate annual and long-range training ammunition requirements.
- Provide expert technical advice to training developers.
- Review and approve collective training products.
- Communicate with leadership from the MSCoE and the three proponent schools.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The duties of the position require Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) approximately 5% of the duty time.
- This position is designated Tier 3, Non-Critical Sensitive, Moderate Risk and requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Level as a condition of employment
- May be required to serve a one year supervisory probationary period.
