Job Description
Position Title: Computer Systems Analyst II
Location: Newport, RI
Clearance required: SECRET
Scope of Work: Provides mid-level computer systems analysis for classified and unclassified networks and associated IT systems, supporting network engineering, integration, and security analysis.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Perform systems requirements and technology analysis and support system design
- Support system integration, verification, validation, and certification
- Analyze network metrics, IDS/firewall alerts, and system logs
- Identify and implement authentication and encryption methods on enterprise systems
- This position is designated Key Personnel. Incumbent must be a DoD-Approved Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 3 individual (for example CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or Associate, GCED, or GCIH)
- Minimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level.
- Mid-level systems analysis and network security analysis skills
- Personnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2
- Must hold a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Linux+, and have Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Protection training
