Data Scientist

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to support the evaluation, integration, and application of emerging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) capabilities within a customer environment. This role will focus on assessing new AI/ML technologies, analyzing multimedia data, supporting deepfake detection and forensic analysis, and integrating technical capabilities into cloud-based environments.

What will you do?

• Provide data science support for the evaluation, testing, and integration of new AI/ML capabilities within the customer environment.
• Assess emerging AI/ML technologies to determine their effectiveness and applicability to customer requirements.
• Conduct analysis and forensic examination of multimedia data, including images, video, and audio.
• Apply current methodologies and technologies for deepfake and synthetic media detection and analysis.
• Maintain awareness of evolving deepfake generation techniques and corresponding detection approaches.
• Support the integration, coordination, testing, and documentation of new Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) technologies.
• Support the development and integration of systems leveraging cloud services and cloud infrastructure.
• Work with technical teams to integrate data science and AI/ML capabilities into existing customer systems and workflows.
• Support the collection, processing, analysis, and lifecycle management of publicly available information (PAI) used to address mission requirements.
• Assist with evaluating data sources, technical capabilities, and processing methods used within existing customer environments.
• Document technical findings, evaluations, system capabilities, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to support technical and mission objectives.

Do you have what it takes?

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience providing data science support for the evaluation or implementation of AI/ML capabilities.
• Experience evaluating, testing, or working with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies.
• Demonstrated experience conducting multimedia forensics or analysis, including images, video, and/or audio.
• Experience with current deepfake creation and detection methods.
• Experience supporting or developing systems utilizing cloud services and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience providing technical support for the integration, coordination, and documentation of COTS capabilities within a customer environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to evaluate technical capabilities and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
