Senior Full Stack Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement complex enterprise applications and technical solutions. This position requires a strong background in full-stack software development, Java, Spring, Python, AWS, and modern software architectures, along with exposure to AI/ML and emerging technologies.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across the full technology stack, developing technical architectures, providing technical direction, and collaborating with development teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and mission-focused solutions.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain full-stack software applications using modern programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Develop backend applications and services using Java, Spring, and Python.
• Design and implement technical architectures for complex enterprise systems.
• Develop solutions supporting web applications, collection systems, network-based solutions, and cloud environments.
• Design, implement, deploy, and manage applications and infrastructure within AWS cloud environments.
• Evaluate and integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and other emerging technologies into existing and future solutions.
• Translate customer requirements and business objectives into scalable technical designs and software solutions.
• Develop and communicate a clear technical vision, architecture, and recommendations to development teams and stakeholders.
• Analyze complex technical challenges, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Collaborate with software developers, engineers, stakeholders, customers, and external partners throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations related to system architecture, software design, cloud implementation, and emerging technologies.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, backlog management, technical discussions, and team collaboration.
• Utilize JIRA to manage development activities, requirements, issues, and project progress.
• Identify and assess technical risks, changing requirements, and potential implementation challenges.
• Evaluate the impact of technical changes and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and identify opportunities to incorporate new capabilities into customer solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Strong technical background in full-stack software development.
• Experience developing applications using multiple programming languages and technologies.
• Hands-on development experience with:
  • Java
  • Spring/Spring Framework
  • Python
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing technical architectures for complex systems.
• Experience designing solutions involving web applications, collection systems, network solutions, and/or cloud-based architectures.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing solutions within AWS.
• Experience or working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or other emerging technologies.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience using JIRA within a software development environment.
• Strong software architecture, system design, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to translate technical and business requirements into effective software and architecture solutions.
• Ability to develop and clearly articulate technical strategies, recommendations, and architectural direction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, customers, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and technically complex environment, anticipate challenges, assess impacts, and recommend solutions.
