About the role
D9Tech is building a bench of AI/ML engineers for upcoming AWS Professional Services work. The customer is a healthcare company automating its claims processing with agentic AI. We're hiring at two levels: hands-on developers, and senior consultants who lead delivery and customer workshops.
What you'll do
Design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions on Amazon Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore (Runtime, Memory, Gateway, Identity, Observability)
Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines on Bedrock Knowledge Bases
Develop multi-agent workflows with the Strands Agents SDK and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Build and ship services on AWS (EKS, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, Aurora) using Terraform and GitHub Actions
Write production Python (FastAPI) and work with event streaming (Kafka)
Senior level: own the technical roadmap, run customer workshops, and lead MLOps and delivery across teams
Required
Hands-on experience building on Amazon Bedrock (agents, Knowledge Bases, or RAG)
Strong Python development skills
Experience with AWS serverless or container services
Must be based in the United States
Developer level: 2+ years of software development
Senior level: 10+ years in technology delivery, including 5+ years leading enterprise AI/ML programs
Preferred
Hands-on Bedrock AgentCore and Strands Agents SDK
MCP servers or multi-agent orchestration
Healthcare, payer, or claims domain experience
HIPAA or SOC 2 environments
AWS certifications (Machine Learning, Generative AI, Solutions Architect)
Experience with Kiro or other AI coding assistants
