Lead Analytics and Insights Engineer II

Work You'll Do

As a Lead Analytics and Insights Engineer on the Government & Public Services Insights, Innovation, & Operate team, you will be responsible for:

• Leading data analysis and interpretation activities to support client decision-making, program evaluation, and operational improvement
• Developing and applying evaluation criteria, performance metrics, and logic models to assess program effectiveness and track outcomes
• Translating analytic findings into technical deliverables, written reports, and executive-ready materials for client and stakeholder use
• Managing project activities, timelines, and coordination across workstreams to support quality delivery
• Collaborating with client and Deloitte teams to identify business needs, structure analyses, and implement data-informed recommendations

Qualifications

Required:

• Master's degree
• 15+ years of professional work experience
• 10+ years of experience in data analysis and interpretation, evaluation criteria and performance metrics, logic models, project management, and technical writing
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Ability to work on site in Arlington, Virginia 75% of the time
• Ability to travel 25-30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

• Completed or in-progress Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in public health

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $159,100 to $265,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
