SME - Web Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint / Web Developer to support the development, modernization, administration, and maintenance of web-based platforms and digital learning solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in SharePoint development and administration, PowerShell scripting, data ingestion, Joomla, web development, and Web-Based Training (WBT). This position will support the development and maintenance of websites, online training portals, WBT solutions, multimedia products, and other digital learning resources.

What will you do?

• Develop, administer, enhance, and maintain SharePoint environments and solutions.
• Manage SharePoint content, sites, pages, libraries, and related web-based resources.
• Develop and execute PowerShell scripts supporting SharePoint administration and automation.
• Utilize PowerShell to perform data ingestion, data processing, and SharePoint scripting activities.
• Troubleshoot SharePoint-related issues and support ongoing site administration.
• Maintain technical documentation covering SharePoint configurations, scripts, processes, and workflows.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications, websites, and portals.
• Develop and maintain website functionality using technologies such as:
  
  • PHP
  • JavaScript
  • C++
  • Related web programming languages
• Administer and maintain Joomla-based websites.
• Support the modernization and migration of Joomla 3 environments to Joomla 5.
• Troubleshoot website functionality, compatibility, performance, and content-management issues.
• Maintain existing source code and development processes to ensure continuity of operations.

Do you have what it takes?

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with SharePoint development, administration, and/or content management.
• Experience utilizing PowerShell for SharePoint scripting and automation.
• Experience utilizing PowerShell for data ingestion.
• Demonstrated experience with Joomla site design and administration.
• Significant experience performing or supporting Joomla 3 to Joomla 5 migrations/conversions.
• Demonstrated experience creating, developing, and maintaining Web-Based Training (WBT) solutions.
• Strong website development and coding experience utilizing technologies such as:
  
  • PHP
  • JavaScript
  • C++
  • Related web-development technologies
• Knowledge of and hands-on experience utilizing AI tools.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into existing workflows or processes.
• Ability to explain AI tools and workflows to technical and non-technical users.
• Experience developing and maintaining web-based applications, websites, or online portals.
• Ability to maintain existing code and technical processes.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams, instructional designers, SMEs, and other stakeholders.
