BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional program manager for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), the Sentinel weapon system.
This program manager will work with a highly skilled and diverse team of system safety and system security engineers who are responsible for the review of weapon system requirements and data from the prime contractor. This position will require the candidate to act as a section lead managing 5 - 7 personnel to support the BAE branch manager while also acting as safety subject matter expert to provide guidance to the system safety and system security teams. The candidate will also work hand-in-hand with USAF civilian and uniformed program managers and engineers on a daily basis and will provide frequent communication to both the government customer and the BAE branch lead. As such, the candidate must have a technical background in addition to knowledge of the program requirements.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Secret SAP clearance
- 10 yrs experience in direct Program Management or 8 years with a MS degree
- Able to work independently, demonstrate strong initiative, and organize and direct daily tasks with minimal supervision
- Responsible for tasks and will be accountable by the government for the technical quality, content, and results of all projects
- Strong communications skills (oral and written)
- Knowledge of or experience with Program Protection, System Safety, System Security Engineering, and System Theoretic Process Analysis (STPA)
- Safety professional with past technical leadership of safety related efforts
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Top Secret security clearance.
- Working knowledge of MIL-STD-882E
- Knowledge/experience with performing System Safety Hazards Analysis
- Knowledge/experience with performing Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis
- Experience in risk management of risk factors identified in MIL-STD-882E
- Experience with ICBM weapon systems, DoD and USAF system safety requirements, or military technology and technical data highly desired but not required
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint and Atlassian Jira Project Management Software highly desired but not required
- Active Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional Certification highly desired but not required
