Anti-Tamper Protective Technology Engineer

COLSA Corporation is seeking an entry-level Anti-Tamper Protective Technology Engineer to assist in developing and implementing program protection strategies to safeguard components, technologies, and systems from threats including tampering, counterfeiting, unauthorized access, modification, and other forms of malicious interference.

The successful candidate will support engineering activities related to protective technologies, including anti-tamper technologies, microelectronics, secure design and packaging, technical risk identification, and systems engineering.

• Assist in the development and implementation of program protection strategies and protective technology solutions.
• Perform engineering analysis of systems, components, and technologies to identify vulnerabilities, technical risks, potential failure modes, and protection needs.
• Support anti-tamper and other technology protection activities throughout the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Assist with the evaluation of microelectronics, secure design and packaging approaches, and other protective technologies.
• Identify and document technical issues and support root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and risk mitigation activities.
• Maintain risk registers, action-item trackers, and other documentation used to monitor technical issues and mitigation activities.
• Support systems engineering activities, including requirements development, system integration, verification and validation, and technical documentation.
• Analyze technical data and coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify potential failure modes, system risks, and corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, engineering analyses, reports, briefings, and other program artifacts.
• Participate in technical reviews, working groups, and engineering meetings.

Required Experience

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in related technical field
• 0-2 years of related experience
• Working knowledge of concepts related to protective technology, including anti-tamper technologies, secure design principles, or related areas.
• U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Active Secret Clearance.
• Experience identifying technical issues, conducting root-cause analysis, and supporting corrective actions.
• Experience maintaining risk registers, action-item trackers, or similar tools used to monitor technical issues and mitigation activities.
• Experience supporting systems engineering activities, including requirements development, system integration, verification and validation, and technical documentation.
• Experience analyzing technical data and working with cross-functional teams to identify potential failure modes, system risks, and corrective actions.
