Site Reliability Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Remote Site Reliability Engineer to join a growing organization within the technology and infrastructure services industry. The Site Reliability Engineer will play a critical role in optimizing platform stability, enhancing observability practices, automating operational processes, and supporting enterprise-wide infrastructure reliability in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities of the Site Reliability Engineer:

• Design and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to improve visibility across infrastructure and platform environments.
• Drive platform reliability by analyzing system performance, availability, and capacity trends while proactively addressing potential issues.
• Manage infrastructure patching initiatives and security remediation efforts to maintain healthy and compliant environments.
• Develop automation solutions that streamline operational tasks, reduce manual effort, and improve system efficiency.
• Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term reliability improvements.

Qualifications of the Site Reliability Engineer:

• 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability, logging, and alert management platforms in enterprise environments.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities using technologies such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools.
• Experience supporting cloud-based infrastructure within AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation, configuration management, vulnerability remediation, and systems administration best practices.

Compensation for the Site Reliability Engineer includes:
