CIO Services Task Lead / CIO Strategy Support

Foxhole Technology is seeking an experienced CIO Task Lead / CIO Strategy Support professional to provide high-level strategic and operational support to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and leadership team.

This is an opportunity for a strategic IT leader to help shape and execute enterprise IT and cybersecurity initiatives, develop forward-looking strategies and roadmaps, and support the effective management of complex IT portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT portfolio and project management, enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, data management, and resource planning, along with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.
Responsibilities

• Serve as a key point of contact supporting the CIO and leadership team.
• Drive the successful execution of enterprise IT and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and align enterprise IT strategic initiatives, including portfolio and acquisition strategies and roadmaps.
• Ensure IT strategies and initiatives remain aligned with organizational mission and priorities.
• Adhere to applicable cybersecurity frameworks and requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and execute enterprise IT architecture.
• Oversee cloud computing strategy and support the development and execution of enterprise data strategies.
• Manage and provide governance for enterprise IT portfolios, including establishing well-defined portfolio structures and related processes.
• Implement clear reporting and communication mechanisms to support leadership visibility and decision-making.
• Optimize the allocation of enterprise IT resources and manage program dependencies through comprehensive, data-driven analysis.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support build-versus-buy decisions.
• Brief the CIO and CISO on planned, recommended, and directed actions to promote unity of effort and operational effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with an Active Top Secret clearance and TS/SCI eligibility, with the ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• PMP certification.
• At least 1 year of experience leading and supervising teams performing work across one or more of the following workforce areas:
  • IT (Cyberspace)
  • Cybersecurity
  • Software Engineering
  • Data/AI
• At least 1 year of experience briefing a CIO and CISO on agency-wide planned, recommended, and directed actions to support unity of effort and operational effectiveness.

Maryland Pay Range

$180,000 - $215,000 USD
