Job Description
Conviso Inc is hiring Business Analyst / Quality Assurance Analyst to support requirements development, sprint readiness, and testing activities within a federal project environment. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, highly organized, and able to manage competing priorities while delivering high‑quality work on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
• Gather, refine, and document requirements and user stories with clarity and completeness.
• Prepare process flows, functional documentation, acceptance criteria, traceability matrices, and other BA deliverables.
• Participate actively in sprint refinement and ensure stories are ready for development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve gaps and validate business needs.
• Manage priorities effectively and align tasks with project timelines and critical path needs.
Quality Assurance
• Develop test cases, test scripts, and validation scenarios based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Execute testing, identify defects, log issues clearly, and track resolutions.
• Ensure full traceability from requirements to test outcomes.
• Support UAT preparation, coordination, and quality gate reviews.
Execution & Accountability
• Consistently deliver high‑quality outputs with attention to detail and minimal rework.
• Manage workload across competing tasks and shift focus based on urgency and project priorities.
• Communicate risks, blockers, and delays promptly.
• Follow direction regarding priority assignments, especially for time‑sensitive or compliance‑critical tasks.
• Maintain strong ownership of assigned deliverables from initiation through completion.
Required Qualifications
• 3–6+ years of combined Business Analysis and Quality Assurance experience.
• Experience working in federal or regulated project environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of requirements analysis, documentation standards, and traceability practices.
• Hands‑on QA experience including test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under time constraints.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid SDLC environments.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt in fast‑moving project contexts.
