Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Lead enterprise risk and issue management activities supporting large-scale Army/DoD IT initiatives.
Identify, assess, document, and monitor program, operational, schedule, and enterprise-level risks.
Develop and implement risk management processes, policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
Work with program leadership to develop and track risk mitigation and contingency strategies.
Maintain enterprise risk and issue registers and provide regular status updates to leadership.
Prepare executive-level risk briefings, dashboards, reports, and presentations.
Develop and enhance risk management dashboards using Power BI and Power Apps.
Analyze program data to identify trends, operational bottlenecks, emerging risks, and opportunities.
Conduct program reviews and audits to evaluate risk management processes and reporting accuracy.
Collaborate with CONUS and OCONUS program teams to establish consistent risk reporting and mitigation practices.
Facilitate risk management training and educate program teams on risk identification, assessment, response, and reporting.
Partner with program managers, project managers, technical teams, and government stakeholders to address risks affecting mission objectives.
Monitor project schedules and identify schedule-related risks that may impact program execution.
Support executive decision-making through data-driven operational analysis and forecasting.
Develop SOPs and process documentation to improve risk management and program office operations.
Ensure risk management activities align with applicable DoD, Army, DAU, PMI/PMP, security, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
Experience in enterprise risk management, program management, project management, or program operations.
Demonstrated experience identifying, assessing, tracking, and mitigating program risks.
Experience supporting Defense, Army, Navy, or other federal government programs.
Strong experience preparing executive-level reports, briefings, dashboards, and risk assessments.
Experience working with senior government and military leadership.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Excel.
Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and schedule management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively across technical, operational, government, and contractor teams.
Desired Qualifications
PMP, or other PMI certification.
DAU acquisition training or experience with federal acquisition environments.
Experience developing enterprise risk management policies and standards.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Experience with government program audits and compliance activities.
Experience supporting CONUS and OCONUS operations.
Knowledge of Army IT enterprise programs and program office operations.
