Overview
Our client, a leading defense technology organization, is seeking a Senior Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to join a team developing advanced communications, electronic warfare, and mission-critical signal processing solutions. This role is ideal for an engineer with deep expertise in custom waveform development, communications systems, RF signal processing, and advanced algorithm design.
The selected candidate will contribute to the research, development, modeling, and implementation of sophisticated DSP algorithms supporting next-generation defense platforms and technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
- Strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithm development
- Experience developing and analyzing custom waveforms independent of specific hardware implementations
- Proficiency with floating-point and fixed-point algorithm design and optimization
- Experience working within Agile development environments

- Create and optimize custom waveforms for mission-critical environments
- Support research, prototyping, and deployment of advanced signal processing solutions
- Evaluate and improve system performance through simulation, analysis, and testing
