WHAT WE'RE DOING

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Procurement Quality Engineering based at the RMS Orlando, FL site. The Procurement Quality Engineering is responsible for the overall quality health and compliance of the key suppliers deliveries and services. This position may require up to 25% travel out of the assigned geographical area to support program areas, suppliers and customers across the United States and International locations. The position will require working flexible hours.

THE WORK

This individual will contribute to the execution quality control activities and systems at supplier facilities through surveillance, audits, in-process inspections, acceptance tests, technical reviews and maintain feedback loops supporting the F-35 Training and/or Support Equipment programs within Training Logistics Solution (TLS) Line Of Business (LOB).

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Collaborate with product quality and other operations' support to analyze and support investigation and triage of supplier related defects identified within the factory. Ensure accurate and thorough documentation and initial disposition of supplier defects identified, update as needed.
• Ensuring accurate and thorough documentation of supplier defects, including initial disposition and updates as needed
• Performing reviews of top drivers for Supplier Reject Rate (SRR), Defect Per Thousand Hours (DPTH), and Defect Per Million (DPM) metrics to support FSQE trend analysis and aid program Quality Performance Team (QPT) and Corrective Action Board (CAB) discussions
• Purchase Requirement (PR/PO) Management in P2P and identification of supplier quality requirements flow downs (SOWs, PRs, POs)
• Liaising with operations personnel to understand how supplier parts are integrated into Lockheed Martin's build processes and procedures
• Perform Receiving and Source Inspection at various LM, third party, or Supplier locations
• Ensure all applicable inspections are conducted at Supplier or Receiving Inspection
• Participate in QPT Meetings and/or Program Meetings
• Participate in Supplier Test Readiness Reviews Witness / Monitor Supplier Qualification, Functional, Acceptance Tests and review Results

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience with ERP/PLM systems (e.g., SAP, Aras, Teamcenter) for PR/PO tracking and supplier data management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools.
• Ability to work cross functionally with sourcing, SMEs, proposal teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance

Desired Skills

• Background in a STEM discipline (e.g., engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field).
• Comfortable presenting data in large settings, program, and supplier management meetings.
• Excellent communication & organizational skills
• Green Belt Certification
• Former Quality/Inspection, Global Supply Chain, or Engineering experience preferred

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
