Kentro is hiring a Proposal & Marketing Graphic Designer to support the Business Development and Marketing/Communications departments by providing proposal graphic design support (development of proposal graphics using Kentro design standards in Adobe Illustrator and PowerPoint) and design support for Kentro's brand, campaigns, events, digital channels, and internal communications.

Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.

Compensation Range: The pay range for this position is $80-100K annually/hourly. Kentro determines compensation by evaluating current government contracting and commercial market conditions, as well as the role's specific requirements. Final salary placement within this range will be based on the candidate's relevant skills, experience, education, certifications, location, and security clearance level, where applicable.

This Job Description reflects the primary duties of the role; however, it is not intended to be all-inclusive. Team members may be asked to take on additional responsibilities in alignment with customer expectations, business needs, and Kentro's culture of collaboration and adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with technical and business subject matter experts, authors, and capture managers to conceptualize processes and ideas to develop visually appealing proposal graphics
  • Develop graphics consistent with Kentro branding standards (fonts, colors, design choices), and compliant with RFP requirements for font, sizing, etc.
  • Make suggestions for space-saving considerations, clarity of message, design options
  • Edit/update existing graphics in Illustrator, work with proposal managers or authors to validate contents
  • Perform quality reviews of graphics and ensure graphics version control within Adobe CC and proposal working files
  • Produce high-quality and consistent graphical content for oral presentations using a combination of Illustrator and PowerPoint
  • Attend kick-off meetings and maintain awareness of proposal schedule to keep pace with review cycles
  • Design marketing and communications materials across print and digital formats, including capability statements, one-pagers, brochures, white papers, case studies, award submissions, and the annual report
  • Create social media graphics, web graphics, email headers, and digital ad creative for LinkedIn, the Kentro website, the careers site, and account-based marketing campaigns
  • Design event and trade show materials, including booth displays, retractable banners, signage, presentation decks, and branded giveaways
  • Prepare print-ready files and coordinate with print and production vendors on proofs, specifications, and deadlines
  • Produce visual assets for podcast, webinar, and video content, including cover art, episode graphics, thumbnails, lower thirds, and simple motion graphics
  • Design internal communications materials, including presentations, employee event collateral, and recruiting and employer brand assets
  • Design executive presentations and thought leadership graphics for speaking engagements, articles, and LinkedIn content
  • Build and maintain branded templates, along with a shared library of icons, graphics, and approved imagery
  • Apply Kentro brand guidelines across all deliverables and partner with the MarComm team to evolve the visual identity
  • Manage proposal deadlines and MarComm requests through a shared intake and prioritization process with Growth and MarComm leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in graphic design work, specifically in a corporate/business environment
  • Experience in government contracting proposals/understanding of the RFP process
  • Demonstrated experience/ability to work efficiently and effectively with multiple deadlines and changing priorities
  • Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision (i.e., working remotely) with strong self-motivation and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent computer and design skills, including a high level of proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, and Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong understanding of Word Template design and desktop publishing
  • Portfolio demonstrating both proposal graphics and marketing design work across print and digital formats
  • Experience designing for social media, web, email, events, and large-format print, including print-ready file preparation and vendor coordination
  • Experience applying and maintaining corporate brand guidelines across multiple channels and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of motion graphics or video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) preferred
  • Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards for digital documents and graphics preferred

  • US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card)
  • Willing and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance or higher
