Supervisory Supply Management Specialist

Duties

• Assign work to employees, plans work schedules and sequence of operations and provides technical oversight, and ensures the timely completion of tasks for supply operations for Range Operations at Fort Campbell, KY.
• Oversee the daily acquisition of supplies and services by providing advice and assistance in resolving supply support problems, ensuring customer support, and establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and track expenditures of allocated Funds, Operations and Maintenance Appropriations (OMA), and Other Procurement, Army (OPA).
• Approve all purchases and reviews orders for accuracy and completeness, also Verify transactions utilizing US Bank Access Online (AXOL) and executes final approval/reconciliation for monthly statements.

Specialized Experience:
Have one year of specialized experience which includes the following. 1) Perform work for the acquisition of supplies and services by ordering, receiving or issuing supplies or services for an organization such as a Range Operation; 2) use automated systems to order, receive, verify, track or issue supplies and services such as Army supply and ordering systems; And 3) perform inventories or track supply levels or needs for services to make sure levels are sufficient or supply or services needs to be ordered. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Electronics, Engineering Technology, Networking Technology, Telecommunications (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

Have the specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have at least two years of graduate education as described in B, but less than the required three years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
